About the Role:

The Banking Operations Analyst will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely handling of financial transactions. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in accounting or finance, have prior banking experience, and be capable of working in a high-pressure environment. The position demands excellent analytical, technical, and interpersonal skills to handle sensitive financial information with accuracy and efficiency.

Financial Transaction Responsibilities:

• Apply postings and reversals of financial transactions accurately.
• Analyze and make decisions based on financial data.
• Conduct investigations related to payments and adjustments.
• Manage and handle all correspondence related to financial operations.
• Provide support for convenience cheque processing.
• Work under tight deadlines to ensure all client reporting is completed within SLA timelines.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Key Technical Skills:

Financial transactions, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, Accounting, Banking operations, Typing skills

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, B.Com (Commerce and Accounting), or B.Sc in Accounts and Finance (mandatory).
• High School Diploma (minimum requirement).
• 3 to 5 years of accounting experience in a banking environment or in an accounts receivable role.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Fluent in English with effective communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Suite Applications.
• Strong PC skills and typing proficiency.
• Ability to work independently and handle tight deadlines.
• Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated capability to adapt and implement change.
• Willingness for continuous learning and self-development.
